On Thursday, December 20, 2018 a male and female walked into the Dunkin Donuts located at 269 West Main St (across from Dudley District Court) and removed a jar full of donated money from the counter. UPDATE: Here are some still images of the video. In addition, a picture of the donation jar is included as well (picture was not taken directly before and does not accurately reflect how much money may have been taken). The charity was the Knights of Columbus.
UPDATE 01/12/2019: Two individuals involved in the December theft of a Knights of Columbus donation box from the local Dunkin Donuts, have been located and charged. Dale Laliberte, age 46, and Samantha Trombley-Laplante age 27, both of Southbridge, were charged with Larceny in connection to this theft. The Dudley Police thank all the members of the public who assisted with providing information on this case. Officer James Annese was the lead officer on this matter. A combination of good police work by members of this department, the assistance of the Mass State and Southbridge Police, and the information provided by the public were keys in bringing this matter to a swift resolution.
