On Friday, May 4, 2016 at approximately 7:45 am, members of the Dudley Police and Fire Departments responded to a bomb threat at the Dudley District Court located on West Main Street. A call had been received at the Framingham State Police Call Center warning of a possible suspicious device. The building was evacuated and searched by emergency responders, court officials, and members of the Massachusetts State Police and Worcester Police Department Bomb Squads. Federal officials from Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were also on hand to assist. No suspicious devices were found and court resumed shortly before 11:00 am. The matter is under investigation by Dudley Police Officers James Annese and Chandler Boyd. Anyone with information, is asked to contact the Dudley Police Department at 508-943-4411.
