The Dudley Police Department is seeking assistance from members of the public regarding a robbery which took place at approximately 1:20pm today. Police were called to respond to a robbery in progress at Dudley Park N' Shop. A male subject described as "dark skinned" wearing a black shirt, light colored pants and a black "skull" style cap approached a clerk at the courtesy booth and showed a note to a teller demanding money. He was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash and ran from the store on foot. He is believed to have entered a champagne or silver colored Mountaineer with a New Hampshire registration. The vehicle is believed to have traveled into the town of Southbridge on Dudley Southbridge Road. It may have traveled into northern Connecticut via Route 169. No one was injured in this incident and no weapon was observed. The case is under investigation by Officers James Hutchinson and Chandler Boyd.
