On Friday, May 12, 2006,
officers from the Dudley Police Department executed a search warrant at
#35 Oxford Ave., third floor. This was the result of an
investigation into illegal drug activity taking place at that location.
The search of the premises yielded quantities of crack cocaine,
marijuana, and prescription drugs. Three individuals were arrested
at the residence. Mr. Frank Stefanik, age 47, of 35 Oxford Ave.
third floor and Ms. Vicki Bonneville, age 47, of same address, were
charged with numerous offenses including trafficking of cocaine,
possession with intent to distribute class C and D substances, and drug
violations in a school zone. Another women, Ms. Ashley Freudenthal,
age 19, of 13 Park Street, Webster was charged with conspiracy to
violate the controlled substance law. All individuals were bailed
to appear at Dudley District Court on Monday 05/15/06. Police Chief Steven Wojnar credits Officer Marek Karlowicz for leading this investigation. Also numerous members of the department assisted with the investigation and search. Assistance was also provided by the Massachusetts State Police K-9 and the Webster Police Department. These arrest are responsible for closing a location of drug activity in a busy area of Town. This building is only a short distance form The Dudley Elementary School, Pine Street Park, and the Webster and Dudley Boys and Girls Club. The case remains under investigation and further charges are likely to follow. |
