On Tuesday, March 28, 2006, a federal drug search warrant was conducted at 7 Third Ave.  The Dudley Police Department assisted DEA agents, Massachusetts State Police, and other federal/state/local agencies with the execution of the search warrant.

While conducting the search of the premises, federal agents discovered numerous firearms and ammunition.  The firearms, which included two machine guns and a rocket propelled grenade launcher, were seized by the Dudley Police Department.  Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad responded to the scene to clear the weapons and ammunition. 

Two individuals were arrested as a result of the search warrant.  Diana Piesak was arrested and charged with federal drug violations.  Michael Piesak was arrested and charged with two counts of improper storing of a firearm, two counts of possession of a machine gun, and one count of possession of a firearm silencer.  Michael Piesak was held overnight at the Dudley Police Department on $100,000 bail.  Diana Piesak was taken into custody by the federal agents.

The investigation is currently ongoing and further charges might be filled.  Assistance was provided by the Dudley Fire Department in dealing with the hazardous and explosive material.  Below are some of the firearms that were seized.
