January 3, 2007 Press Release
On Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at approximately 3 pm, an attempted abduction occurred at the intersection of Dudley-Southbridge Rd. and Partridge Rd. The sixteen year old female victim was standing at the above intersection waiting for her sister. A suspect attempted to get the victim into his vehicle. The victim was able to brake away from the victim, run home, and notify the police. The suspect is described at a black male, possible Jamaican accent, 30-40 years old, 160-170 lbs, with short dreads. The vehicle that the suspect was in was described as a older model four door white vehicle with a tan interior. There should be damage to the passenger side headlight and a dent in the passenger door as a result of the victim kicking it to get away. Below is a sketch of the suspect.
