On April 2nd over $5000 in cash
and checks were taken from a motor vehicle on Sunset Drive in Dudley.
The money was proceeds from the Dudley Little League Raffle Fund.
As a result of the investigation of the B&E that occurred April 2nd,
Officer Ceppetelli of the Dudley Police Department has arrested a
sixteen year old juvenile of Dudley. The arrested juvenile was
charged with Larceny over $250 and B&E into a motor vehicle at
nighttime. Two others juveniles, one from Dudley and one from
Charlton, that were accessories to the crime will be summonsed to court.
An amount of cash and checks have been recovered by Dudley Police.
Some of the items were recovered in a local pond, with assistance from
the Dudley Fire Department.
