On Saturday, April 7, 2007, at approximately 8:10 pm, Officer Marek Karlowicz of the Dudley Police Department observed a vehicle identified as a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, color green, traveling above the speed limit on Chase Ave. He also observed this vehicle cross the yellow center line. He attempted to stop the motor vehicle on Chase Ave. near the intersection of Chase Ave. and Brandon Rd. The vehicle continued east on Brandon Rd. and into the Town of Webster onto Hill St. where it finally stopped.
The operator was identified as Richard Donnelly, age 50, of Webster. After a brief investigation, Donnelly was placed under arrest and was transported to the Dudley Police Headquarters where he was booked and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol (4th offense), fail to stop for police, speeding, and marked lanes violation. Donnelly was released on $500 cash bail and is scheduled for arraignment on April 9, 2007 in Dudley District Court.
